Helps you figure out creature's attributes. If your skill is too low, only the creature's level will be shown, all other attributes will be shown as ??. The skill check is made against the creature's Deception.
With creature appraisal lenses (requires the skill to wield), one may also weaken an opponent's defenses much like an imperil spell. See Gearcraft for more details.
- Originally had the formula of (Focus + Self / 2).
- During the Gears of Change event, the formula was changed to None.
- Until the Master of Arms event, it was specialized for free on Tumeroks, and on Aluvian with changed innate abilities.
