Archmage NPCs

Archmages sell spell components, magic items, mana stones and alchemical items. Sometimes they sell spell component peas, portal gems, clothing (robes), dispell services and miscellaneous stuff such as the Splitting Tool.
Named Archmages can be found in the major towns. Nameless archmages can be found all over Dereth, in towns or in the outskirts/wilderness. The majority of mages, both in towns and in the wilderness, sell scarabs up to level 4. However, the scarabs needed for more powerful spells are only sold by the the Master Archmages and a certain number of standard archmages.
Master Archmages sell all magic components up to level 7, and very specific magic goods, such as Master Robes and town portal gems including some unique ones. See the Mastermage page for a list of these mages and their wares.
