Overview[]
Walk Through[]
- Talk to Grularr Wa'ydo in Kara at 83.4S, 47.2E (upstairs).
- Enter Count Phainor's Tomb, located in Graveyard at 65.0S 44.1W.
- From the drop, speak to Grularr Wa'ydo, and then hug the left wall all the way down until you reach Grularr Wa'ydo again.
- Optional: Along the way you'll pass a hidden Chorizite Chest on a ledge you can shift jump to, it can be picked then opened by anyone (diff 600). The exact location changes each time the landblock reloads. You can find it easily by hitting the find next item key as you run.
- From here, head down the ramp and find the Spirit of Protection in the next room. Kill it and loot Phainor's Chamber Key.
- Once you have the key, take the right passage and follow it until you reach Grularr Wa'ydo again.
- Speak to Grularr Wa'ydo, use Phainor's Chamber Key on the door behind him, and jump across the pit into the final room.
- Find the boss, Count Phainor, in the room beyond and kill him.
- Note: Once he notices you, Phainor will summon Guardian Wisps that use fire vulns and arcs.
- Optional: Kill the wisps first, as they are dangerous but die quickly and do not respawn after being killed.
- Kill Count Phainor and enter the door that opens in his room.
- Talk to Grularr Wa'ydo one last time to collect your rewards of a Legendary Key, 214,584,377 Xp and 10k Luminance.
Notes
- Once completed you cannot reenter the main dungeon unless someone not on the timer talks to the NPCs to open doors for you.

- Grularr Wa'ydo tells you, "I am a collector of trinkets from times long past. The craftmanship and the stories behind the pieces are simply unmatched in today's age."
- Grularr Wa'ydo tells you, "There is an exquisite amulet that lies within a tomb hidden deep in the Graveyard of the southern Direlands. The Count Phainor once wore this piece many years ago. The amulet is one of a kind."
- Grularr Wa'ydo tells you, "I absolutely must have this piece for my collection. As you can see though, I am hardly a warrior. Battling through the Count's undead minions is not feasible...for me that is."
- Grularr Wa'ydo tells you, "If you could meet me inside the Count's tomb I can assist you on your way to the Count's chamber. I will use the shadows to hide from sight of the evil beasties within and follow from a safe distance, assuring you find your way."
- Grularr Wa'ydo tells you, "Once Count Phainor is defeated and we can access his treasure room, I will have my amulet and you will have your fair share of his legendary loot."

- Grularr Wa'ydo tells you, "Excellent work. Be wary though, a formidable opponent awaits you just ahead."
- Grularr Wa'ydo tells you, "A ghostly spirit of great power lies below. This creature possesses the key we will need to gain access to the Count's chamber."
- Grularr Wa'ydo tells you, "Destroy this guardian and take the key. I will meet you at the chamber door."
- Grularr vanishes into the shadows.
- Grularr Wa'ydo tells you, "We are close now. Just beyond this door lurks Count Phainor's resting place."
- Grularr Wa'ydo tells you, "Surely he has felt your approach as you cut down his minions."
- Grularr Wa'ydo tells you, "Prepare yourself brave warrior. Use Phainor's Chamber Key on the door behind me when you are ready."
