Game Changes[]

The town of Arwic has finally been rebuilt since it was destroyed by a Shadow Spire.
The Legend of the Tusker Paw has been found on Aphus Lassel and he is rewarding those who best the Tusker Hero Mowen Udaun.
A new type of dagger - the Dirk - has been added to the game.
Loot changes:
- Parchment no longer drops as loot.
- Creatures no longer drop their pitiful unmutated weapons.
- Missile weapon ammunition (i.e., arrows, crossbow bolts, and atlatl darts) no longer drops as loot.
- Foods now only drop at low treasure levels. At higher levels, food has been replaced with potions. This does not affect special food drops, like fire auroch meat or spices.
- More types of scarabs (e.g., lead, iron, copper) drop at lower levels of loot. At higher levels of loot, scarabs have been replaced with scarab peas.
- Weapon damage, variance, offense and defense modifiers, and speed now mutate more often. In addition, weapon burden can now mutate as well.
- The armor level and burden on armor mutates more often. In addition, the elemental protection of shields can mutate.
- Jewelry now has a chance to be generated with heritage requirements.
Other changes:
- Many more items from the game can now be hooked within a house.

Gormling's Note is now worth 100,000 experience and 20 Oswald's Throwing Daggers.
Gwillim's Alchemy Bag is now worth 50,000 experience and 250 Deadly Frost Arrows.
Gwillim's Alchemy Notes are now worth 100,000 experience.

Bandit Shield Quest

Bandit Shield updated with new artwork, spells and SL.

Fiery Weapons

Banderling Bandit found in the northwest camp updated to a Banderling Rogue and now only drops the Fire Spear. The camp has also been updated with higher level Banderlings and a Sturdy Iron Chest.
Banderling Bandits found in the Arwic Mines updated now only drop the Quarter Staff of Fire.
Third camp introduced near Edelbar with a Banderling Bandit that also drops the Quarter Staff of Fire.
Fourth camp now found in the Tiofor Woods that has a Banderling Rogue which also drops the spear.
Fire Spear and Quarter Staff of Fire updated with new stats and artwork.

Lilitha's Lost Bow

Lilitha's Bow must now be repaired before use.
25,000 xp reward for repairing the bow.
Lilitha's Arrows are retired (no longer found with her bow nor sold by the farmer near Eldrista).
Hunter's Leap which was originally filled with Banderling, is now inhabited by Humans similiar to those on Marae Lassel.
Lilitha's Bow updated from a +25% modifier to +100%

Says they threw him out of his own house the other night and were freezing the place over when they happened across his hearth and melted clean away. Good thing he had a roaring fire going! To be fair though, I hear it's mostly the two-headed ones that are causing all the trouble."

Town Crier tells you, "I would love to take a look at one of those giant gift boxes that appeared in a number of the towns. But no, I'm stuck here and talking to you."

Town Crier tells you, "I heard an odd story from a hunter today. He says that he came across a blind snowman in the northern woods. Said the thing was too pitiful to kill. If you hear of anything that might help it you should head out there."

Town Crier tells you, "If you go talk to one of Nuhmudira's students in some of the towns they may tell you how you can get something nice out of those giant gift boxes."

Town Crier tells you, "The Furniture Vendors are selling some nice new items for houses and the Woodsmen who have been busy preparing for Winter have some new items as well."

Town Crier tells you, "They say that a woman trafficking in dark magic lives inside that cottage and that she knows something of the King of the Tuskers. Seek her out if you dare."

Town Crier tells you, "Some have said that Ketnan did not move to Aphus Lassel of his own accord, that there was something or someone that drove him there. Sometimes I almost feel for him."

Town Crier tells you, "The Winter winds have blown in a strange new flower. If you are interested in seeing one I was told they can be found in the mountains. They seem to flourish in the chill air."

Town Crier tells you, "I heard that a cottage mysteriously appeared on the second island of Aphus Lassel. Only those strong enough to survive there should go though."

Town Crier tells you, "I don't know if it's true, but I did hear that High Queen Elysa is rebuilding her home somewhere near Asheron's island."

Town Crier tells you, "I found this scroll a while back and copied the words down because the parchment was too old to move. I've been trying to translate it for a while now but I finally figured out what it said. 'It eats all starting with their bottom.' What does that mean?"

Town Crier tells you, "Have you seen Arwic? It's looking like a real town again! I'm checking with the Crier's Guild to see if I can get a position there."

Ulgrim the Unpleasant

During the The Hall of the Tusker King event, Ulgrim returned his home town of Ayan Baqur after spending some time at Xarabydun and Aphus Lassel.

Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, "So, Harlune is an Empyrean?"

Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, "I thought they were all supposed to be asleep, instead they're everywhere. This could be a bad trend. Half of the Empyrean I've met have been genocidal maniacs. I'll have to keep my eye on him."

Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, "New house decorations? I've seen them, but who needs decorations when you have stout."
