Walkthrough & Notes[]
- From the Singularity Caul drop, run to the Repository at 89.3S, 93.5W.
- From the drop, head down the ramp and hug the right wall.
- Continue hugging the wall right until you reach a large room with 2 Barbaric Mukkirs in it. Loot the Damaged Shadow Stone from the ground nearby.
- Note: A secondary location for the stone can be found in a room with a surface portal, a statue and 2 Obsidian Sentient Fragments - see map)
- Note: While in the dungeon se sure to also hunt down and kill a Greater Penumbral Horror that drop the Iniquitous Fragment needed for Sepulcher of Nightmares quest. It can be found on the way down to the Mukkirs.
- Now head to Xarabydun and hand the Damaged Shadow Stone to Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist at 41.8S, 15.8E. She will give you a Repaired Shadow Stone in return.

- You give Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist Damaged Shadow Stone.
- Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist tells you, "Ahh, a damaged Atlan Stone. I've seen a lot of these lately. I wonder what's damaging them without destroying them... Very odd..."
- Ciandra examines the stone intently.
- Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist tells you, "Hmmm... This should work..."
- Ciandra takes some tools and a few drops of Aqua Vitae to the stone. Suddenly, the cracks seal, and the stone pulses slightly with a chill darkness.
- Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist gives you Repaired Shadow Stone.
- Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist tells you, "There. I don't think it'll work in an Isparian Weapon, as it is not fully repaired, but it should provide some benefit, if it's set in a secure place and used. Here you go."
- You've earned 161,000,000 experience.
- Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist tells you, "If you're interested, I may have a plan for turning these into stones usable in Isparian Weapons. If you are interested in this, just hand the repaired stone back to me to examine. Know this first though, the stone will lose the ability to be placed in a home, if it is successfully altered from what it is now."

- You allow Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist to examine your Repaired Shadow Stone.
- Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist tells you, "I've found a way to alter these stones to work with an Isparian Weapon, but I need you to get something for me first. I've managed, in my research, to locate a possible location for one of Atlan's Workshops, where he made the first weapons we based the Isparian Weapons on."
- Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist tells you, "The portal should be at 66.9N 15.9E, along the outside of the Mt. Esper Caldera. Go there, and gather for me whatever information you can."
