Q: But wouldn't he [Bhael'Zharon] just love to subvert the weapons designed to defeat his shadows, twist their power, and be turned against the hope of those who made them? An exquisite method of revenge.
My take is that the shadow stone doesn't "negate" or "remove" the anti-shadow power, it enhances and perverts it at the same time. Corruption is the tool of this dark one.
